Tom Hanks has found someone else he neither looks nor sounds like.

The trailer feels like an SNL sketch that forgot to be funny.

I think someone like Steve Carrell might've been a better choice. Or maybe David Strathairn, though me may be too old now.

When it was announced this was being made, I thought Jim Parsons would have been a good choice.

Reading the Esquire article that was the source material for the movie was a moving experience for me. Watching Tom Hanks don the sweater and slipping on the shoes created far less an emotional reaction for me than the trailer for "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" which is a documentary I'm keen to see.

Much like there's no need for the Lion King CGI reboot, there's no need for this after the wonderful documentary on Fred Rogers last year.
