As J.B. won`t comment, i will...If you have male
genitalia, can you actually have a Brazilian? As a lot
of those beauty parlours were independent, eg:- Lone
women, why would they do a lone male? Also, if you
still have male genitalia, you are not really
transgender.

I saw a story a while back about some transgender M-F
person, protesting that they were refused a smear
test. Bear in mind the NHS has limited resources, why
would they offer a smear test to someone who never had
ovaries or a womb in the first place?

I must add, i`m all for equal rights for minorities,
but there HAS to be common sense used.

Apparently that's not how it works. The declaration is sufficient.

Bill C.: "If you have male genitalia, can you actually have a Brazilian?"

I dunno about anyone else, but I doubt I could fit a million, let alone a brazilian.

False equivalency. Someone who identifies as a dog is likely to be declared mentally ill.

Bit of a hairy issue but I'm sure it'll all get smoothed out in the end.

The right-wing media is having orgasms over this story.

I don’t see a conflict between being supportive of transgender rights and agreeing that no one should be forced to handle someone’s penis and scrotum if they don’t normally handle penises and scrotums. The latter is not discrimination on the basis of gender identity. It’s about not handling penises and scrotums, whether they are on a man or a woman.

I agree, thanks Peter for making laugh out loud and spitting my water all over my keyboard.

It needed the clean.

Cheers, Peter

So, hypothetically, if men identified themselves as women, they are transgender. If they then call themselves men again after a significant timespan, are they transgender, post-transgender, cisgender, or just confused?
Not being snarky, but sincerly puzzled.
