Captain Nemo, The Prisoner, Dr. Who, The Man From UNCLE, James Bond, Tevye, Achilles.----------------------------- Peter: Is this something to do with actors playing different nationalities? *****
You're on the right track with actors, but it's unrelated to nationality. Actors who played these roles have one striking thing in common.

That is not what I had in mind.

Indeed. For what I'm going for, I had to look far and wide to make it to five names.

And I honestly don’t think that’s right.

You were right that you were wrong. (Their fashion sense has nothing to do with it.)

A red-headed love interest. Mary Jane, Medusa, Shayera, Inza, Nova, Lana (or Knockout, depending on which Superboy you had in mind) and Shanna.
(And now that I think about it, Spider-Man has also locked lips with Black Widow (sort of - she wasn't herself at the time), Shanna and, depending on how you interpret the end of ASM #203, Dazzler...)

Dave, nicely done, sir! You found love interests for the characters I hadn't thought of! I had completely forgotten Natasha's time as Nancy Rushman, and I really liked that story.

Probably another softball to the amazing Mr. Phelps, but...
Firestorm, Starhawk, the Infinity Man, Triad, and the Uni-Mind.

Firestorm, Starhawk, the Infinity Man, Triad, and the Uni-Mind.
They are all characters that are made up from 2 or more other people being combined into one thing/person.

Yeah, that's what I would have said... ;-)
Don't know about the "distinctive feature" Rick Senger's looking for, I think the only other active one is mine (which I don't want to give away yet - but the "no" posts did have hints), so here are three more from me:
#1 Lashina, Atom, Multiplex, Thinker, Javelin
#2 Bronze Tiger, Nightshade, Poison Ivy, Count Vertigo, Penguin
(Note that there's a common thread between the first two.)
#3 Shang Chi, Thor, Captain Atom, the Flash (Barry), Hercules (Marvel's version)

*******
That was my guess but I couldn’t find any info on the Infinity Man that supported my theory.
