Had black costumes with blue highlights that gradually became blue costumes?

Did anyone want to take a swing at the questions I still have open?

Superman, Wonder Woman, Thor & Loki, Sub-Mariner & Namora, Archie, Peter Parker, and Emma Peel.

Alan Scott, Bart Simpson, Woodstock, Kermit the Frog, & Link from Legend of Zelda.

Supergirl, Power Girl, Agatha Harkness, Sabrina Spellman, & Alexandra Cabot.

Not yet, but I will when I have a chance to give them some thought.

Well, I clearly overthought that one... :-)

Re: Brian Miller's guess of "came and went..," I'm sorry but any such list from me would have to include such favorites as Metamorpho, Plastic Man, and Namorita. :-)

Dave, good spotting and true, but not what I was thinking. I'll go ahead and add two more characters to the list: Gary Seven and Klarion, the Witch-Boy.

Dave P:

Batman, Dr. Fate, Hourman, Sandman, the Spectre, Starman, and Superman.

"JSAers owned by DC before the official DC/AA merger?"

Yup. Once side of DC was National, one side was All-American. I've often wondered about an Elseworlds book, if such were still created, where the last iteration of the Justice Society of America meets the Law's League - Superman, Batman, Aquaman and Aquagirl, Green Arrow, Johnny Quick, and Captain Comet. In a world where the companies never resolved their conflict in the 40s*, and went their own ways. It's fascinated me.

*I reference Bob Rozkis' "The Secret History of AA Comics", which goes much further in depth - and better done - than my postulation.

Correct! Now, for extra points, what are the names of those cats? :-)

Let's see... Streaky, Guy(? - don't remember if he ever actually got an official name), Ebony, Salem, I didn't even know she had a cat, Isis and Teekyl.

Close enough! Power Girl's "Bill the cat" lookalike eventually got the name "Stinky," but we'd have taken "Cat," "Mr. Cat," "Stinkbomb," or really, just about anything. And Alexandra Cabot had a mischievous cat named Sebastian who laughed like Muttley from the Wacky Races whenever one of his mistress's plans backfired or went awry on the Josie and the Pussycats cartoon series.
