Can you imagine Trump's rants if it was a British citizen who killed an American and did a runner using diplomatic immunity?

I'd expel American diplomats over this until Sacoolas is handed over for questioning in the matter.

Until a decent President is installed, no one in the World can have any kind of cordiality or relationship with this guy or his cronies.

This is the first I have heard of this story, and I do follow the news.

I've read a couple of small articles about it, but it is not getting huge coverage here.

I thought as much. One countries big deal is another’s footnote - Just the way of the world, I guess.

Which is depressing.

Well, when the POTUS trivialises a 19 year old's death, what do we expect?

Republicans are presenting the same false choices in Syria as they did for Iraq 16 years ago: apparently our only options are either we pull out and let the Kurds get slaughtered, or go to war with Turkey. Diplomatic and economic pressure is unthinkable. Of course, Trump's National Security Adviser was on the Turkish payroll. It remains interesting how the tough-talking Trump transforms into a obsequious lapdog in direct proportion to the odiousness and brutality of specific dictators.
