Remarkable girl. I do fear for her as a target, though.

I follow her on Facebook. She's my hero. Proof there are young people doing great things. Better than some older people, for sure!

The Orange One is probably not happy about this, and that obviously means it's a good thing.

He's not. He's already been attacking her on twitter.

Not happy about this. To me she's the Leftist equivalent of Donald Trump. Both of them are slogan-chanting attention-seekers who've managed to convince the average numpty that he/she speaks for them on important issues, without sufficient education or maturity to do so. Neither is achieving very much (unless publicity = achievement), they both oversimplify issues just to preach to the converted, but polarize and likely drive away many others.

If I wanted to really be unkind, I'd describe one of them as an angry whiny little girl, but he'll hopefully be kicked out of office soon ;)

"Neither is achieving very much (unless publicity = achievement)"
------

In the case of Climate Change, publicity is indeed achievement. Making people aware that there is a problem and that action needs to be taken NOW to correct it is a critical first step. Ms. Thunberg is doing a far better job of that than any current US politician.
