Saturday, 1/11
  • Vikings (6th seed) at 49ers (1st seed) - I hope Tom Brady watches!
  • Titans (6th seed) at Ravens (1st seed) - Ravens have that Team Of Destiny sheen to them right now
Sunday, 1/12
  • Texans (4th seed) at Chiefs (2nd seed) - Feels like a shootout.  Highest scoring game of the weekend.
  • Seahawks (5th seed) at Packers (2nd seed) - Unless it's super-duper (below 0 Fahrenheit) cold

I want a Titans-Vikings Super Bowl, but won't happen.

Vikings - the Vikings defense is better than the 49ers offense, I think that's the difference. Vikings have more potential firepower on offense too.

Ravens - I just don't see them losing here.

Chiefs - This is a tough call but I think the Chiefs have more than the Texans.

Packers - I thought Seattle would handle Philly more easily.  Since they didn't, I think they're  more vulnerable on the road in Green Bay.

Last week was great but I would argue the second week of the playoffs is often the best football all year... nothing but good teams competing.  In the weeks ahead there will be great games but this is the concluding burst of the full 4 game slate before the inevitable taper to Superbowl 54 and the many months of boredom that follow.  Smoke em if you've got em, it doesn't get much better than this.

Saturday, 1/11
  • Vikings (6th seed) at 49ers (1st seed) I love it when a sleepwalking team wakes up just in time and Minnesota has that quasi-look of destiny but the 49ers just too fundamentally consistent most of the year.
  • Titans (6th seed) at Ravens (1st seed) Two shockingly good QBs from out of nowhere, one superior Ravens D.
Sunday, 1/12
  • Texans (4th seed) at Chiefs (2nd seed) TX beat them in KC three months ago but the Chiefs have been hot.  Gimme a quarter.
  • Seahawks (5th seed) at Packers (2nd seed) Love me some Russell Wilson but Seattle closed the season with three losses in four and a shaky W vs. a bad Panthers team.  They didn't impress me vs. the Wentz-less Eagles.  GB has won 5 straight so I'm riding the wave at home despite some reservations about Rodgers' health.

Saturday, 1/11
  • Vikings (6th seed) at 49ers (1st seed)  Cousins is still only 7-30 against winning teams.
  • Titans (6th seed) at Ravens (1st seed)  This will be closer than people think.
Sunday, 1/12
  • Texans (4th seed) at Chiefs (2nd seed)  0 confidence in either team, just taking the home team.
  • Seahawks (5th seed) at Packers (2nd seed)  The Packers are a paper tiger this year.

Saturday, 1/11
  • Vikings at 49ers  - I believe!  SKOL!!!
  • Titans at Ravens - Feels like a team of destiny.
Sunday, 1/12
  • Texans at Chiefs - Throw away Houston's win v the Chiefs early in the season.
  • Seahawks at Packers - I think whichever team wins, they'll get bounced next week.  Seahawks are doing it with smoke and mirrors and the Packers can't score enough points.

Saturday, 1/11
  • Vikings (6th seed) at 49ers (1st seed)- San Fran certainly has some cracks, and maybe the Vikes have put together the right plan. I do like Mike Zimmer. Niners at home tho.
  • Titans (6th seed) at Ravens (1st seed)- Henry's a beast. Go Oilers!
Sunday, 1/12
  • Texans (4th seed) at Chiefs (2nd seed)- I couldn't pick the Texans right all season, let's see what happens.
  • Seahawks (5th seed) at Packers (2nd seed)- Wish there was a third team to pick, Gawd I dislike both teams!

I thought we'd be the most embarrassing thing to come out of this weekend, but thank you Ravens!  #1 team beaten by a #6.  I really like this Titans team.
