"Made my weekly grocery store run yesterday morning. Everything on my list was readily available barring one item- beans. All the beans were gone, and I'm not talking about canned beans. All varieties just gone."
**
I may have already mentioned it, but on a trip to the grocery store (just before things really hit the fan here in NS) I noticed the freezer section that held the pub-style foods was *completely* cleared out of chicken nuggets. Ribs, sure. Wings, got em. Chicken nuggets? Nah. It was barren, not a box of any brand.

I went grocery shopping a few days ago. One of the places we went was Wal-Mart. They actually had toilet paper and paper towels, but both were in limited supply. They only had Great Value, Scott and a couple of others (No Charmin or Cottonelle) in the toilet paper, and only had 4 and 8 packs. They had moved various storage containers (and I'm talking fairly big ones with drawers) from housewares to fill the empty shelves where the paper products were missing.

JB, there's an app for grocery deliveries in Toronto now, and drug stores deliver prescriptions. There are no services like that in your area?

This might be new thread worthy, but Diamond has stopped shipping comics due to this:

Could be devastating for comic book stores

Brian M. - it seems as if Mr. Darwin is working harder than ever right now. Again, I greatly regret the collateral damage - but those who feel smarter than the doctors and CDC should go right ahead and clear the gene pool a bit.

And now, Dr Oz appears to have taken Dr Fauci's place at Trump's side for his daily briefings...

Let's keep this thread to personal experiences during the pandemic. This is an unprecedented time in which so many of us are on lockdown that we are finding new ways of living our lives.
Political discussions can continue in the ACTING PRESIDENTIAL thread - it is surely its own dimension!

It's pretty hard to talk about the one without the other, Tim. My reference was directly aimed at the COVID-19 discussion. Not any of the other bonehead things he's done.
