On social media, some are claiming this is a JB drawing — even posting “proof” that the art is found in the galleries of this site.
Nothing about this drawings read as JB art to me...

Maybe I’m completely wrong.•• You're not. Can't imagine why that piece would have been in the Galleries, tho since the Galleries are gone, there is no way to double check.

The right hand looks a bit like the way he draws the Thing's hand, though more slender in the fingers.
Edit: Well, I guess the above post settles that question!

The left hand looks NOTHING like a Byrne hand. Nor do either of the arms.

It certainly is a catalog of my schticks, fer sure. But I have no memory of it, and it looks to recent for me to have utterly forgotten it.(I hope!)

Yeah, while the right hand looked as if it could somehow be from JB, the left hand feels more like Mickey Mouse's hand (for lack of a better description).

That's not JB's work, I am certain of it. The arm muscles, the chest area, etc., are not his style.

Yeah, it's still in the gallery as a Marvel sketch. Xenu. 5/24/2009

It's drawn trying to imitate the style of JB's art, but it gives itself away in a few key places. Most notably I would point to the wobbliness of the lines in general (and particularly the arcs above the feet).
Compare and contrast how assured, precise and smooth JB's genuine linework is (and how he treats reflections in metal with intersecting parts):
Compared with...
Look at the background lines sloppily crossing over into the space occupied by the main figure. JB doesn't do that.
Also the amount of sketchy underdrawing doesn't fit JB's M.O.
The crudity of the right hand and the background also don't seem like the work of a professional artist.
