I am also very much enjoying the Cap - Cyclops interaction.

...and "lumpy".

I've also always loved that small detail of the seam on the side of Cyclop's glove. The little things...(and big!).

Thank you John Byrne. Proving, once again, no one does it better. This is an unexpected heaven.

This latest page is fabulous. Thing and Wolverine. Captain America and Cyclops (2/3 of a dream commission and Reed Richards, the final piece, is in this story.) One of my favorite parts of this story is Iron Man. To my mind, he looks more high tech in this form as opposed to his current comic and movie form, which to me look clunky. Here he is sleek and the armor can do anything within reason. I just love it and miss these days long gone by.

Iron Man has gone down a strange path. From the introduction of multiple suits for different purposes, when formerly one suit could do all (deep sea diving, fly in space, etc), to the addition of seams and bulk and flanges, all was a process of turning away from the super high tech of the skin tight armor.

And, yes, there was a time when I fell into that trap, too.

I actually prefer Iron Man’s clunky, original look. The 80’s design reads as “Robot Man” or “Tech Man”, to me... it doesn’t read as “Iron”.

Wow, every page is mind blowing. Love page five's cameo appearances and just how extensive the Sentinels are deploying around the world.

Kinda fitting about the White Queen. Hope Northstar and Aurora fare
better.

NOTE: Finishing touches on issue 12, today. Crazy! Took me a long time to figure out just where the issue ended!

The slow build has shifted into full eruption! I've said this a few times already but I continue to particularly enjoy how the stakes keep ratcheting ever upward.
