Who has watched the excellent limited series Fear City on Netflix? I loved it. I especially loved all of the actual wire tap audio they used. The photos they have and the layering of reenactments with the voiceover interviews of today was excellent. Highly f@#$%ing recommended

Yes, I watched it. Loved it.

It was nostalgia for me because back in 1992 I worked for
for a pretty big NYC mafia defense firm and part of my job
was, a young lawyer back then, was to go through boxes and
boxes of FBI wire tap tapes and listen for, well, anything
and everything...!

For a year I "lived" with mob families and, I tell you,
"The Sopranos" wasn't anywhere outrageous enough!

Finally got around to watching this and thought it was pretty well made. After watching other docu-series like McMillions I felt like it should have been about four or five episodes longer.

It's hard to reconcile the buffoon that Rudy Guiliani has become with the driven prosecutor that he was.

You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself
become the villain.

Yeah, seeing Giuliani and Chertoff exuding some principles was interesting to me. I liked Rudy's assessment of the mob as bad guys who prey on good honest hardworking people. I think that's largely lost in all of the pop culture mafia stuff like Sopranos and Goodfellas and whatnot.
