I remember when the US would be the ones doing the influencing! My how Uncle Sam has fallen. All kidding aside, it is truly frightening that such influence can be exerted on the US Presidential election and horrifying that so many Americans are just fine with it happening.

It happened four goddamned years ago! Now it happens again and it's reported as NEWS?!?!? The only thing I contest is that it shouldn't be Russians - it should be Soviets. I'm convinced that if Putin could get away with it, he'd reform the USSR so fast that it would make your head spin.
The ONLY difference is that now, Putin has an ally/puppet in the U.S. government of such elevated status. Treason, plain and simple, and I've got my popping corn ready when that charge is brought against President Murder and his administration.
But watch; when Trump loses, one of the many things he'll blame it on is the Russian interference ON BEHALF OF THE DEMOCRATS.

Before he “beat” Clinton he claimed the election was rigged. Turned out it was.

As I have said before - if you want to know what he is up to, look at what he is accusing his rivals of. Or what names he is calling them.
Those are exactly what HE himself is actually doing. And he's getting away with it

The faults of Trump are so myriad that you could spend all day compiling a list.
Just in the area of dealing with US intelligence, he:
- has concentration issues
- doesn't like to read briefings
- likes to brag
- only wants to accept material that suits him
- is a novice to government
- doesn't trust the intelligence agencies
- fires people who prioritise truth over personal loyalty
This paragraph comes from a sister article in the NYT magazine to the one JB gave us the link for:
Trump was accustomed to cutting deals and sharing gossip on his private cellphone, often loudly. He enjoyed being around billionaires, to whom he would “show off about some of the stuff he thought was cool — the capabilities of different weapons systems,” one former senior administration official recalled. “These were superrich guys who wouldn’t give him the time of day before he became president. He’d use that stuff as currency he had that they didn’t, not understanding the implications.”
Trump also stocked his President’s Intelligence Advisory Board with wealthy businesspeople who, when briefed by one intelligence official, “would sometimes make you uncomfortable” because on occasion, “their questions were related to their business dealings,” this individual recalled.

Every day brings new reasons not to vote for Trump, and more proof that a vote for him in 2016 was a terrible mistake.

It always seemed to me, back in '16 that he kept saying it was rigged to soothe his own ego as to why he lost. He would always have that to point to. Once he won, he claimed he always knew he was going to win.
Now, that familiar drumbeat starts again
