So great to see Namor again.  I just loved that series, and the effect of duo-shade on the underwater scenes.  It looked so real.

I love the idea of Xavier and Namor having a working relationship. If Namor respects you even a little, that means a whole lot. Love that First and Mightiest Mutant.

Wolverine doesn't appear to be on the boat. Poor guy! Hope he's managing.

Can they find the remains of Jim Hammond down there too?  And then you can spin off a new INVADERS series!  And all will be right with the world.

Richard - now there is a dream - a John Byrne done Invaders series.

For now I'm happy with what we get here.  Todays page was a treat for this Namor fan.  Jean obviously has built up some power while healing below the lake, as I don't recall pre-Phoenix her being that strong, but of course Namor would've been caught off guard.

Just been reading the page again... and for some reason I enjoyed it more the second time over.

Fun to look at the tiny figures on the boat and recognise who is who.

We did see a bit of JB Invaders in Namor #12 and the cover of one Marvel Universe. Plus Captain America #253-254 and the solo Spitfire story in one of those Marvel giants of the early '90s.

Namor is pretty tough so whatever is going on seems fairly serious. :^O

Remember when Cap and Hydra wore plastic costumes?

Those early computer colored comics were definitely garish in coloring. Yeah, it still is a problem today, but in those first few years, it did seem everything was colored so that people and objects appeared to be made a plastic.
