As far as how aluminum shortage has affected me? I don't drink soda.  Haven't in nearly a decade and even when I was drinking the stuff it wasn't in huge amounts.  Soda just isn't a thing for me outside the movie theatre and we all know where they're at.  It would only affect me with regard to cans for beer, but so far I'm good.  I know y'all have been very worried but, trust me, I'm good.  My beer has been able to be delivered to me in enough quantity as to assuage any 2020 shenanigans.

I've been looking for Vanilla Coke for months. Cases/12 Packs are not in any super markets in the Philadelphia suburbs.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I have seen Vanilla Coke in stores here occasionally, but the Zero version that my father drinks is not on shelves.

I have been able to find Dr. Pepper Cream Soda in stores, but not the diet. Mountain Dew Frost Bite I've only seen in the bottle 6 packs or the cold ones near the register, but not in cans. And this year's VooDEW (Halloween mystery flavor) is supposed to be out, but neither of the stores I've been to (Walmart and Kroger) have it.

Kroger is either not making their vanilla cola, or are selling out fast.

Before the pandemic, I would drink Diet Coke at lunch or in the afternoon, and
Diet 7-Up at night. Now I rarely drink Diet Coke at all - only if I am going on a
car ride and think I need caffeine. I still drink Diet 7-Up, but I stopped buying
cans and only buy the two liter bottles.

A couple or three years ago, something flipped a switch in my head and I lost all interest in carbonated beverages. Over the past year its been creeping back, but it takes me a couple of days to finish a small can or bottle.

Lucky, I guess!

********

Trevor its the best damn root beer I have ever had. It still can be found be it
involves a trip to a speciality beverage store or ordering online. Goose Island
makes 4 or 5 craft sodas. I didn't even know they were a craft brew beer
company till years later.

Goose Island Root beer is better that their alcoholic regular beers they make.

I forgot, cel-ray soda is also refreshing.......if you like celery.
