She held Canadian citizenship in 1974.
*******
But he was born in 1970, so maybe she was still a US citizen when he was born.

I'm guessing but the whole purpose of Trump forcing recounts is not that he has any hopes of changing the result, he just wants to find any number of votes added for him so he can then claim, see, votes for him weren't counted. That plus possibly that they said the election was the best handled and yet look at how the recount numbers differ, so that's not true at all or they'd get the exact same numbers.
And Biden is being told by Republicans that he cannot choose Susan Rice for his administration because she is 'Typhoid Mary'. Nothing to do with any real or actual problems with her work record, she has a name, like 'Pocahontas', 'Crazy Bernie', or 'Crooked Hillary'. Even if she were the sister of someone who served under Bush jr., it's some dumb name applied that makes someone absolutely taboo. Back the guy who walked in front of the Queen and did a thousand other taboo things, but how can those unhinged liberals expect anyone to respect fill-in-the-name-call? I would say either come up with reasons to disqualify Susan Rice or be reminded of Kavanaugh every day for four years!
The Trumpers are going to deny communication on all matters until mid-December, so people will hear about that every day until then. Even Dr. Fauci and other health officials have been told they are not 'allowed' to communicate and that's about the public health. Biden is being mocked for shedding a tear at the descriptions of an ICU nurse though, probably couldn't handle reality like that 'strong' Trump anyway. Will mocking back do anything? If it might I say go for it. :^/
Trump-Thing; whatever knows reason burns at it's touch! "Some people would say I'm very, very, very intelligent." Ouch.

There are a few possible reasons for Trump forcing the recounts. Some are less likely than others -- an example of a less likely one is an attempt to delay long enough to get past the certification deadline, allowing state legislatures to say there is an electoral failure and then appoint pro-Trump electors. Needless to say, there is no legal precedent for this.
I think there are two more likely reasons :
1. to have an issue around which he can fund raise. 2. to just defer conceding as a goal in itself with no bigger plan.

The birther stuff is completely incoherent. Uncredentialed right winger paralawyers have magicked up an entire body of Twitter fakelaw (I guess it's Parler fakelaw, now). As it currently stands these lunatics claim that presidential eligibility requires a) being born in the continental US (or Alaska, obviously) b) to two parents who were US citizens from birth.
The only one of Trump's children who are eligible to be president is Tiffany, since the others had an immigrant parent. Ted Cruz is right out.

If only Al Gore contested his election results as vigorously as Trump, perhaps we would have avoided the disastrous Iraq War and Great Recession. So while the world would (should) be a better place without the Trump White House, elections should be fought tooth and nail, even past election day.

Biden has won both the initial machine count AND hand recount PLUS audit in the Great State of Georgia, putting him at 306 electoral votes plus a clear majority of the popular vote.
Were the federal judiciary or the state legislatures of only a couple states to step in at this point to OVERTURN the election it would truly be a legally disguised coup d'etat AND without exaggeration or hyperbole I shudder to think of the horrific aftermath in the streets.

Joe,
Don't think we can't read through your twisted logic - in your analogy TRUMP is GORE and should BIDEN who is BUSH (in your analogy) win, we are in for horrible things (e.g., the Iraq War and the Great Recession, again, per your analogy).
Try again.

So is Trump really going to try to get the electoral colleges to cast a vote for him in states that he lost?
That would be disastrous for democracy & the USA as a whole. I don’t even want to think about where that leads

Fortunately I put Joe on ignore a long time ago, so I don't have to read his insane drivel.
I believe that Trump and his supporters, who refuse to admit he lost and keep coming up with every conspiracy theory under the sun, are delusional sore losers.
They're just as nuts as those who believe in the QAnon garbage.
