JB: On that note, what's the Forum feeling on using this exercise to restore Sabretooth to my original intent, as Wolverine's father?

I'm all for it!

I'm fine with you making Sabretooth Wolverine's father.

...yeah, you might want to stay away from what's happened with him.

As it is, he's the only mutant incarcerated on Mutant Island for crimes that they had only just decided were crimes (i.e., killing humans).

My Sabretooth wasn’t.
--------------------------------
I know he's been depicted increasingly bestial as time has worn on, but even from the get-go, didn't he have sharp teeth, sharp claws and a lack of visible pupils?  Wolverine could walk down the street and look like a normal bloke, albeit with an unusual hairdo. Sabretooth's teeth, nails and eyes would look less like a normal person, wouldn't you say?

What I love about ELSEWHEN is that you can ignore all the crap later writers foisted on the characters.

JB, I can’t imagine you doing anything with the characters or story that would put anyone off. I find anything jarring comes entirely from years of story we have already had in the last few decades. As a reader of Elsewhen we trip ourselves up. I’m all for your Wolverine story.

What, Sabretooth doesn't have enough problems being a blood thirsty killer mutant? Now he has to be Jewish too? Such a tsuris you put on your characters... ;)

I'd love to see this confrontation and family connection. It'll be pretty weird for everybody involved, if Logan's still healing from that cooked brain.

Imagine if there'd been a vote on whether to cook Wolverine's brain.

I'd have say yes, but only if it's well done.

Boom! boom!
