Wolverine really should not be a leader. He doesn't have the temperament for it.---------------------------------- Not real Wolverine. But then there have been so many. Samurai Wolverine. Best-at-what-he-does Wolverine. Wise-old-Wolverine.

I'll go ahead and duck now
I actually don't mind the samurai, wise, aged warrior aspect. He's pretty old and travelled so it stands to reason he'd pick up things here and there. Someone like that probably would have some wisdom to impart. They would also realize that they weren't meant to be a leader if they didn't have that disposition.

How much is Wolverine supposed to remember from his past?

He remembers something at least - When he first faced Donald Pierce of the Hellfire Club, he remarked that he was also almost turned into a cyborg, once.

Enough to be angry about it.

he remarked that he was also almost turned into a cyborg, once--------------------- Couldn't that just be a reference to his claws and skeleton though, rather than an actual memory?

To clarify my question a bit:
I assume, rightly or wrongly, he has some haziness about the operation that gave him the claws and adamantium skeleton. But I don't know if he remembers a lot of the stuff before that or if everything about his whole life is murky.

So I think you're right in that, if Wolverine is the leader, things have gotten really desperate and the usual humanitarian rules of engagement are not in place.
********
That works for me. If Logan is in charge, it is *not* business as usual. It should be the exception, not the rule.

JB: On that note, what's the Forum feeling on using this exercise to restore Sabretooth to my original intent, as Wolverine's father?
******* HOLY CRAP.... this idea is getting better & BETTER!! Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think JB has drawn Sabretooth (in a story) since IRON FIST!
