My wife was watching the 1947 romantic... comedy(?) the other day, and it struck me just how much Loretta Young looked like she was drawn by Steve Ditko throughout the film:

Which led me to indulge in a lot of baseless supposition about whether Ditko specifically modeled female characters after her or if he just had a type that for one brief moment Loretta Young matched (I checked; this is the only period in which she looked so 'on model').

Anyway, the larger question is do any other actors or actresses that look exactly as if they were drawn by some specific artist come to mind?

I vote early 1970's Clint Eastwood as pure Joe Kubert.

I've often commented that the Burt Lancaster/Tony Curtis noir film THE SWEET SMELL OF SUCCESS looks like it was drawn by Carmine Infantino and inked by Joe Kubert.

(I've also said, immodestly I suppose, that I liked REIGN OF FIRE because it looked like I drew it--especially the dragons.)

Not classic movies, but I think Tom Welling looked startlingly as if he'd been drawn by Dick Dillin in "Smallville." My opinion changed little in "Crisis on Infinite Earths."

I've mentioned this before, Zoey and Emily Deschanel look like Byrne women but from different phases of his career.

The old fan joke used to be that everyone drawn (or even inked) by Sid Greene looks like Martin Milner:

Here's two I always thought look like Paul Gulacy drawings--Lance Reddick and Summer Glau.

I stopped by Gulacy's table at Comic-Con one year, but I missed him.  A very attractive woman who looked just like his drawings was manning the table for him, his girlfriend or wife.  I asked if she modeled for his comics and she said no, but she was too young to have modeled for his older stuff anyway.  So, the question is--did he find someone who looked like his art AFTER the fact?  Or did ALL his girlfriends look like that?

I always thought Tony Blair also looked like a Ditko drawing.

When I was a child watching the shoulder-padded melodrama of Dynasty, I was struck by how Pamela Bellwood had a face that looked like it was crafted by the team of Buscema/Palmer:

Sophia Loren or Raquel Welch look more like the pencils-only Buscema women though.

The young Tracy Scoggins had kind of Byrne-of-a-certain-era face:

The young Linda Evangelista's eyes sometimes looked Byrne-like also.

For John Romita Sr, look no further than Kim Novak:
