I'd love to see more of the Next Men universe somehow. Even just a series about early Sathanas pulling himself together after the explosion, or a mid-career tale of Tony Murcheson.

This is not really a series but I was digging in a comic box the other day and I came across Doctor Strange - The Flight of Bones miniseries. Its a series that Tony Harris (most notably of Starman) drew the first 2 issues (of 4). I really liked his style with Doctor Strange, and I thought to myself that I wish he had finished the series and had done more Doctor Strange. He seemed like a good fit.
p.s. Paul Chadwick finished the series and did a nice job but I wish one artist had completed all 4 issues.

I really liked when Don Newton (and more briefly, Alan Weiss) 'updated' the original Captain Marvel Family, and I had loved the Shazam! comics which often had '40s Captain Marvel Adventures stories reprinted as a little kid. But you can't really do '40s, or even '60s, style innocent superheroes very easily in the way they were originally done if it's going to rub elbows with the other characters without being dated or silly I don't think. Of all the attempts perhaps the Rocketeer succeeds best? So maybe some equally new creation ala Squirrel Girl is better to hit the more innocent and younger reader note?
There were a lot of the Fawcett Marvel Family comics that one can still read the originals without finding they are wanting lots more. They were great, they outsold most things, and then that time passed. Besides the '70s Shazam! comics and tabloids I went on to collect the old ones when they were still somewhat affordable, and they were imaginative, and charming, but old-fashioned, although the art could be very high quality. Maybe if Mike Parobeck wanted to do it were he still around he could come up with something visually bridging the gap, or Darwyn Cooke, but I can't see it lasting or finding an audience of actual kids today.
