Yes, lists like these are going to drive us crazy, but CBR has published a list of what they feel are JB's best creations.

No mention of Venom, funnily enough ;-).

My top 10 would be very different. What about yours?

Amazing that for three of your creations, they couldn't find ANY Byrne art. I guess you're just not that prolific an artist, Mr. Byrne. :(

Top 10 lists are NEVER objective, nor are there a set of standards against which to compare. Is Alpha Flight better than Michael Swann better than the crew from Doomsday.1? My personal answer is "No", but as always, YMMV.

I would much prefer a list from Mr. Byrne of HIS favorites of his creations. But that list is probably just a fraction less than EVERY one of his creations.

I know that these are subjective, and an "under deadline" article. But my opinion is far superior than theirs... to me.

That Seyg-El by Mignola looks just like John de Lancie.

The list is for Top 10 characters, yet they have a whole team in one of
the slots.

Yeah...this list was janky at best!  Obviously designed to set tongues wagging (and drive comments).

I'd say Nudge And Grunt and Flesh And Bones (in Doom Patrol and Spider-Woman respectively) were very memorable creations. Couldn't really separate them from being a pair.

All these ranked lists are a plague on tv and magazines these days, but sometimes there's something to learn in them despite the format.

That list wasn’t the worst thing I’ve seen on the internet.
No Guardian, no glory, though.

Ahh, good ol' lists.
The red button that says "Do Not Push", yet I push it.
When I seen the topic title I said "Silver Banshee better be on that!"
Honestly, first character that came up, there's just something about her- fascinating!
