Welcome to another week of new comics on the stands (or virtually, depending on what you do these days).  It's a small week for me, but big considering I'll be picking up a month's worth of comics.  As for this week, here's what's being added to my file.  I haven't started either series yet, but may do so this Easter weekend.
  • Batman Catwoman #4
  • Black Cat #4

CROSSOVER #5 - Interesting and fun read, curious to see how this first arc pays off next month.

SEA OF SORROWS #4 - Continues to be a cool horror story.

SHADECRAFT #1 - This was really good, about shadows following a girl that are seemingly alive and after her. I really liked the art too.  A good start for sure!

TWO MOONS #2 - Another good horror story, this one in the old west.

I also got the AVENGERS: THE GATHERING omnibus. That Bob Harras/Steve Epting early-90's Avengers run is one of my favorite Avengers runs - glad to have it all in one big hardcover (with lots of side stories and additional content.)

Black Cat #4- This has been a fun little book.

Captain America- I consider Coates a very boring writer and he's fallen into the Marvel trap of too many guest stars (bordering on fan fiction) but I hate not reading Captain America comics.

The Union #4- I had high hopes for this but it's been pretty bland.

US Agent #4- Pretty good, I always expect Priest will write something smart and he doesn't usually let me down.

Shawn, I hear ya. For what it's worth, Coates is wrapping up. He'll be done with #30.

CROSSOVER #5
DECORUM #7
DEPARTMENT OF TRUTH #7
UNFINISHED BUSINESS HC
CAPTAIN AMERICA #28
SYMBIOTE SPIDER-MAN KING IN BLACK #5
US AGENT #4
X-MEN LEGENDS #2

Also:

Continuing to accrue Justice Leagues - recently got #4,6,11,14-15,20,28,31,35-36,38-39 and 44

Got copies of Tales of Suspense #35-38 to speed up a pending collection milestone for me with Tales of Suspense/Captain America legacy numbering.

Backed Dave Sim's recent "Spawn #10 Remastered" Kickstarter and added on a copy of the remastered Cerebus #1; those arrived yesterday. Nice job on the books, even if the Cerebus #1 is the wrong size. :-)

That's great news, Dave! I wonder who's on deck to take over? At my LCS last week, Phillip Kennedy Johnson mentioned that he'd love to write Cap and I like what I've seen from his writing so far. I hope it's not someone like Tom King.
