You know, I never saw JB's Kitty after he left. I only saw
other people drawing a completely different girl.

Here we have Kitty proper. But I can also see Kate in those
drawings as well

Kitty has been aging, slowly. Not anything conscious on my part, but I suspect my awareness of something close to "real time" passing in ELSEWHEN is having a subtle influence. She's not 15 anymore!

Maybe not *such* a good idea to move into a house filled with mutant killing machines...

Just sayin'. :)

I was hoping that here in ELSEWHEN all of the characters would be safe from the passage of time.

Nothing says "housewarming" like finding their most implacable enemies in a closet downstairs.

In an isolated environment like this, where events are not likely to trickle out into other books and characters, I think it might be fun to play against various comicbook tropes—especially ones, like characters not aging, that I have staunchly defended in the past.

After all, it’s not like ELSEWHEN is still going to be around in 25 years and facing the problems brought by characters getting too long in the tooth!

I’m really starting to question X’s judgement! He shouldn’t have let the
girls go exploring like that.

Btw - The drawing of Kitty in the second panel is so good, especially
her eyes.

Why not? Scott stated quite clearly that he and Xavier had already checked out the place.

JB: After all, it’s not like ELSEWHEN is still going to be around in 25 years

I'm not so sure. How's the longevity in your family?
