Did I see something that wasn't there or did I see something that is no longer there?

My comment was about a post not about the pages.

Went back on an off morning and read a bunch of past issues to catch up (half way there). Time well spent and stories well told. Looking forward to time to finish the task. If it hasn't been said enough before, thank you! < id="protanopia"> < id="deuteranopia"> < id="tritanopia">

Gotta say, in addition to really enjoying this storyline, the blog part here has helped me move past the 'I want time to travel normally' thing that I used to be stuck on.  I enjoy the odd story here and there (like Generations) but am better understanding and enjoying the idea of time not really existing in the way it does in real life.  Look at soap operas for example, in Young & Restless (my sisters loved it, and my parents still watch it) they have actors come and go for the same parts, they have kids born grow to 2 or 3 almost instantly, then go to Europe for a few months and come back as teens.  And viewers just accept it as long as the stories are fun.

In the end, that is what matters most - that we get entertained.  And that the next generation gets their entertainment too.  Just please don't push it too far (human JSA'ers being in their prime in 2021 and fighting in WWII pushes it too much imo, but having a near immortal Namor do it makes sense, although I can work with GL's ring letting him do it too, the speed force for Flash ... meh, but Atom or Sandman for example makes zero sense).

John N., your logic is pretty interesting. When I read the last JSA series, Flash, Green Lantern, Hawkman, Wildcat, and Hippolyte were still functioning. I guess at some point, characters have to become old (notwithstanding Wonder Woman, but I thought she was dead at this time.) But I don't worry about Batman, Nightwing, Green Arrow or Black Canary, etc. Their age is NOT the primary reason I read these comics.

I think Wolvie is very appreciative of Yuka's help, but will be relieved when he gets away from her.  I think this is very much a Florence Nightingale Effect scenario here!  Better for her when he leaves too.

Remember, when Barry Allen became the Flash he lived in the same world as Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman—the same three who had been members of the JSA.

Nobody worried about elapsed time, in those days, except to the extent that editors took for granted a five year turnover in the audience, so few who read the first appearance of Barry would be assumed to have read the last of Jay Garrick

Then came “The Flash of Two Worlds”, and everything changed.

Such danged pretty art! All slice of life - not a super villain or flying car to be seen - but so intriguing!

And I can barely wait until tomorrow for the next segment tomorrow! Your storytelling is absolutely RIVETING, Mr. Byrne!
