Johnson is a comics fan in the same way a pedophile loves children.

To further add to it, JB said in the past he was contracted to do 12 issues od BotD, not 18, so is this some backhanded way to announce the six issue extension? It would be stupid of DC to give BotD a six issue extension at this point only to announce the cancellation a year before the last issue would be released. Its financial suicide as far as reaping profits from the book, as small as they may be and it is just plain bad business. I think someone mistaknely said BotD instead of Doom Patrol, which was solicited with a final issue note... weird...

When did JB tell us anything about how many issues of BOTD he was doing?

Joe,

I'm not so cool with your comparison of Rich to a pedophile, mostly because Rich was pretty agreeable to not posting here early on, and I don't think it's necessary.

ON THE OTHER HAND..

If Rich ain't the walking advertisement for having a secret crush on JB, I don't know who is!  My god, the guy LOVES JB!  It's kinda sick how obsessive it becomes!  If there isn't news about JB, he creates some.  If there is news about JB, he rolls around in it like Terri Garr rolls in the hay!

David

[jon lovitz voice]He mentioned it last week,  Yeaaaahhhhh, that's it......[/jon lovitz voice]

All right, seriously, this type of "journalism" is haphazard at best and destructive at its worst.  There is no way in hell such a "report" should have been allowed to see the light of day, until it was 100% irrefutable.  It's unfortunate he was dead on accurate about DP, but that was "announced" with only a few months to go on its run....

Hey Brian, Vincent, I only posted the comparisons on this Forum. Rich said the first comparisons were from myself and the second were from IMWAN.

Of course Rich lurks here. Everybody lurks here. He doesn't post here anymore as JB asked him to leave.

I have no problem with him posting those image comparisons mind you. In this instance for once he is doing providing service and making it know how Byrnes pencils are being butchered.

Sorry for the error Andrew.

Kevin, can you provide the link? Not that I don't believe you, I'd simply like to read JB's comments. ( could be I'm misunderstanding the Jon Lovitz voice and he actually has never said anything)

" He doesn't post here anymore as JB asked him to leave"

Well, he didn't quite "leave" if he's still lurking and using people's posts here as fodder for his own rag.

He destroys that which he is obsessed with. Are you "cool" with that?

Joe, that was astonishingly disgusting thing you wrote. You should be ashamed of yourself. All it does is bring this board into disrepute.

- Are you sure anything at all is really getting axed here?
I mean, if it's something similar to the last crisis, I'm not sure either of these titles wont continue, rebooted, after the event.

If I where at DC, I might try to stir some commotion on the market by spreading rumors of everything being axed before, and then just start everything up again afterwards.

I witholding any judgement until further notice, and I dont think DC is really that stupid, that they just start axing good stuff.
It's not that much of it around, so how stupid can they be?
