I was struck by the "Ooh! Ahh!" scene so many seemed to be raving about in the third X-Movie, where Kitty jumps Juggernaut and pulls him down into the floor. Neat bit -- except she would not be able to do that, as I see it (but, then, I only created her, so what do I know?), and, of course, Juggernaut would not be able to simply burst up out of the floor if she did do it. The floor would be inside him, at an atomic level. He wouldn't be trapped, he'd be dead.

> That's not something my Kitty could have done, as I recall.
If she gave it a shot, what would be the result? Why would it not work?
I don't think it'd work either, incidentally, so I'm not arguing with you here, just interested in seeing how you think it'd go down if she tried it on the Hulk.
Thanks.

Adamantium was created -- as a literary device -- to be the one thing on Earth that could hold the Hulk. +++ There is nothing that cannot be broken with the correct application of force but this is the comic world, sometimes you have to suspend reality and go with it *** "Sometimes"? You seem to be making a mistake common to far too many fans (at least by percentage) these days: assuming that it is you who gets to decide which part of this game of "Let's Pretend" is "real" and which isn't. Well, no. It's the people who produce the works that make that decision, and unless you can find something really egregious to upset the applecart (as with, say, the discussions of STAR WARS), you're along for the ride and should enjoy it as such. If you can't, it's time to get off, and find something else to do.

If she gave it a shot, what would be the result?*** My take on Kitty was that she did not render anything other than herself intangible (actually reducing attraction between atoms) for more than the time it took her to pass thru an object. She cannot "transfer" this to something else. If she tried to push a rock into the Hulk, nothing would happen -- or she'd drop the rock as she, herself, phased into it.

Wonder Man has shown to be a powerhouse for sure and I always enjoy seeing Simon Williams in action. He was killed by Hyperion when he drove him into a Star in the Avengers Annual #16, but that was a Grandmaster game. Wonder Man did knock out Abomination, something the Hulk struggles to do until he gets mad enough.
As for Sue Richards being able to knock out the Hulk, not anymore JB. The Hulk can now instantly grow organs that allow him to breathe underwater, and probably without any oxygen at all.....I wish I was making this crap up........but that is being done by more talented writers than me over at Marvel these days...

What can Jesus press?
Water grapes into wine?
Just enough to lift a cross?
Just enough to overturn changing tables in the temple?
Let me check the Aquarian entry...

Yes Greg, cloning Thor, God of Thunder......HAHHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHA!!!! That's a good one.....as if Tony Stark could clone Thor and use him against Captain America's team...I mean that would be some of the worst writing in Marvel history...oh wait...it already DID happen....nevermind.....
Hulk breathing underwater started with issue #77, Peter David's first issue back after a long absence. What a way to return to the book by adding yet another stupid power to the Hulk. Waterworld Hulk? Perhaps if David returns again he can give the Hulk heat vison and a freakin purple cape, or maybe a spider sense and web shooters?

"My take on Kitty was that she did not render anything other than herself
intangible"
How does that work with her clothes then?
