Obviously we can't show you what REALLY happens to Kitty's clothes because this is an American comic book and you know what a flap this nation gets into when a teat (or a tit, if I must) is shown on the Superbowl, let alone a naked girl running round comics. It just can't be done here.

(You know, the wife got her Canadian Living in the mail today, and it had a story on breast cancer. And it showed full page shot of a naked woman's breasts. Nothing sexy, just breasts. And we both observed you could NEVER get away with that picture in an equivalent mass distribution American magazine. This country is so uptight about the funniest things...)

Implied nudity is shown many times in comics and it certainly doesn't take a
full frontal shot to imply this.

Okay, how about she IS drawn nude, but all the comics are digitally enhanced with that television pixelation to obscure her nudity, and because the artists that draw these books are true professionals and asking them to draw blurry is like asking a trained opera singer to sing off-key, these well drawn pixelations only appear to be clothing?

Well, at least you're attempting to justify a nonsense statement- so I'll give
you points for trying. Unfortunately, you seem to be explaining away a lot
of nonsense with even more nonsense.

Kitty wasn't nude and therefore her powers clearly extend to objects beyond
her own body.
