I think I saw a request for The New Mutants a couple of pages back. I'll second that request, since I loved the first 50 or so issues of that book. (It turned to shit rather quickly after that, I'm sad to say.) I'm talking Karma, Cannonball, Sunspot, Wolfsbane, and Psyche (a.k.a. Spellbinger and/or Mirage. Throw in Magma, Warlock, and Cypher, if you're feeling zealous.
