CUTE DRAWING, JB! :)

On a side note: I always found Lockheed a bit strange... seemed like an out-of-place idea for the X-Men...

You give a lot of cheer to a lot of people with your "Jonies" Jodi, if anyone deserves to have her work immortalized by JB it's you!

Jodi -- when I first saw this piece, it made my heart happy, too.  Congratulations!

JB's females are some of the most well-rounded in comics (pardon the pun).  He treated them not just as lust-objects or helpless villain-bait, but actually gave many of them depth they'd never had.  (Just wanted to let you know it was noticed by the boys, too -- the gay boys, anyway...)

Love the expression on the faces. I like the 'realistic' look on Kitty's face and I also like the textures. With just a few skilful strokes, you perfectly evoked the feel of different materials. The leathery skin of Lockheed's wings, the scuffed sole of Kitty's boot, the lining on the gloves.

And it's a wonderfully whimsical scene. Nice one.

It may sound like a cliché, but thru-out my career I have endeavored to
write not men and women, but people.
