Jerry Ordway did a fine job on the tail-end of JB's FF run.... Dave Hunt was
a great match to JB during his MARVEL TEAM UP run.

Also happen to like Kyle Baker's inks over JB in one of the AVENGERS
annuals.

Kyle Baker! That was a good pairing!
Ordway was so and so for me. The overall look was great, but the faces lost some of their Byrne-ness.
Gordon was a little better, imo.

Another good pairing was P. Craig Russel, who had inked one of those Nick Fury/time travel issues near the end of the FF run.

In recent years I have enjoyed Trevor Scott and Mark Farmer over JB's pencils.

I know how John feels about having sketches inked and I don't know the story behind that Byrne/Williams Beast but I think it's breathtaking. My favorite character, my alternating favorite penciler (along with George Perez and Alan Davis) and one of my favorite inkers (up there with Mark Farmer and Bob McLeod). That piece is like a holy grail!

That Byrne/ Williams Beast makes me want to see a modern collaboration between the two. JB's changed A LOT since he drew that. And for the better, I might add.
