Love the contrast with the snow and night sky. The heaviness of the flurries works on the reader subconsciously to show how it might help obscure their view (and cover his body) making it easier for him to sneak up like that. I don't know if you have any dialogue planned for this page but there is a certain tension with the silence of it that I really like---really reminds me of the silence that sometimes comes with heavy snowfalls where everything is still or moving more slowly.

JB, was the snow effect added with computer or did you temporarily hire someone to ink the background? =)

The snow is done in Photoshop, with a variant of the method I used to do stars in my TREK books. Principle difference being that there are "foreground" and "background" flakes.

Like the rest of COLD WAR, this was done (counter-intuitively) with the thinnest point (XS) PITT pen. All except Swann's shoulder, in the last panel, which I decided did not need a "delicate" touch, and so I took up the brush pen for a few quick slashes.
