Amen to that! The year was 1974. I was wearing a Batman mask like this one while trick-or-treating in the neighborhood, when I excitedly spun around and shouted "C'mon, let's go this way!" to my older sisters and smacked face-first into a brick wall I didn't know was there. I remember waking up later on my living room floor staring at a crinkled-up and broken Batman mask laying next to a pile of candy.

Ha! Point taken. Perhaps that should have been written as Captain Marvel ("Shazam!").

Also: My stepbrother in '78 wore the "Space: 1999" get-up. Can anyone find/post that one?
