I preferred Deadpool when he went by the name Nemesis.

...or am I the only one who thinks Liefeld swiped and "tweaked" the design?

JB, would it be possible to ask for commissions with Image Comics characters like Spawn, Savage Dragon or Youngblood?

I always found strange there are not any and thought your answer has always been NO.

If memory serves me correct I only remember JB drawing Storm, Cyclops, and Jean Grey in his pages.

Your memory matches mine, Benny. I'll be interested to see if we're right!

Maybe you are. I am getting older, after all.

It WAS inked by Williams, tho. I'm positive about that.

Wow!  This commission took me right back to 1977 in the way that sometimes a scent can suddenly put your mind in another time and place.  John Byrne's comics were such an enjoyable part of my childhood.  Awesome!

Spider-Man looks amazing. His mask and eyes are perfect.

This is a very cool commission. Just a interesting mix of these characters.

Nope, JB's never drawn Cable before. UXM#273 only featured
Cyclops, Jean, and Storm. Cable was on the pages immediately
preceding those, but those were pencilled by Klaus Janson. I must
admit that when I hurriedly went through that issue on my way home
from High School I first thought that Janson's pages were JB's...until I
turned the page and saw that beautiful Byrne/Williams Storm!

I'd like to see JB draw Cable (and Gambit) one day....after seeing
Deadpool here, maybe it's not as impossible as I thought!

Thanks for the answer JB. I guess that must still mean NO.

But I must say that after watching the good JB version of Deadpool looks, characters like Cable, Sentry or Red Hulk would be something really nice and fresh to be seen.

Dont get me wrong, green Hulk will always be THE ONE, thats for sure, but new and unexpected characters being found in your commissions would be a real pleasure to be surprised with.

Yes, I still find Wolverine, Hulk or Batman to be the best ones, but not the only good ones after all.

I really enjoyed the Lord Of The Rings commission as much as this Deadpool surprise. Great stuff!
