This is my first post in this thread.  This is a compilation of the different stages of a piece I've titled "Blind Sighted".  It's done wth pencils and it's a semi-auto biographical representative design based on myself and having lost the vision in my left eye 8 years ago (if you've ever notice my avatar, there is a hole where my left eye would be, even though I still have my left eye in real life).

Jodi - thank you! Below are the finished pages.

Sam - I'd often wondered what your avatar meant. Love the image you posted.

Sebastian, I see so much improvement every piece you create.
The Torch is easily the best, most majestic, powerful figure I've seen you draw.
Reed is not the focal point, but, once I picked him out, he was perfect for the part he portrays in the work.
Ben is well developed into the fall guy, while the Hulk is the one who looks like you might need finding.
Sue,.....Sue is tough.
I won't tackle her yet.
She's such a boyhood crush.

My advice, if humanly possible: go to a local HOOTERS, and watch the girls MOVE. They won't care. That's why they got the job...for the attention. You will come home with a better understanding of the female form.

All for the price of a plate of wings and some Tums.

Thanks for the critique Joe.  Much appreciated.  There is a reason I shoved Sue in the back.  Drawing women is my kryptonite, so to speak!  Another problem is have is that, due to the scale of the other characters, Sue had to be drawn much smaller to add depth to the overall drawing.  In so doing, I was limited to the amount of details I could add to make her look more feminine.  I used XS Pitt Pens to add some of the features in her face but she looks very masculine still.  You'd think a perv like me would know how to draw females but I guess not!! :-)

Sebastian, for the longest time I had trouble drawing women and getting the form and shape right.  Came from drawing males for so many years, but the best way is practice, practice, practice.  Look through clothes catalogues and fashion magazines to become more comfortable with the female form. I still still tend to draw women too stocky, especially on the hips and shoulders.

Here's another one:

Just like skylines, women are out there.....I used HOOTERS because
the uniform was so form fitting it was almost like a nude model. Plus,
the Art School didn't serve Paton.

Their queens were probably far worse.  Feel sorry for the poor sod that Laodicea just pointed to.
