Wow! Thanks, guys.

I am freelancing at the moment, but nothing "big" yet. But I feel like I am reeeeally really close. At least, that's what people keep saying.

Dave Olbrich (VP of Space Goat productions) was having portfolio reviews at the Anaheim Wondercon. I was fortunate enough to get quite a glowing review from him.

He gave me some assignments (like a tryout, I guess). One of them was to do a few Avengers pages from a story that'd come out within the last 5 years. The other was to do something "outside my norm," and he used Swamp Thing as an example. What I posted were the results. I just sent them to him yesterday.

I also met John Barber from IDW who was super nice and had good things to say. So I've been sending him stuff, too. Something's gotta give!

I am in the process of laying out my Avengers pages now.
