The first of two sketches done on the ride back home yesterday.  I had an "AAARRRRGGH!" moment when I realized just how screwed up the proportions and anatomy got towards the end, but muddled through.

It's still a learning process for me.

Second return trip sketch was my visualization of the 1940s radio serial character, the Fat Man.  It was interesting picturing the appearance of those characters in my imagination while listening to the XM satellite channel Radio Spirits.  Given the nature of the story being told, I could see Fat Man being somewhat mean-looking and not very concerned about his appearance (dames don't like fat men, see?).
