I made a CG model of Wernher Von Braun's 1952 design for a circumlunar rocketship. (Rendered in Bryce - the moon is a background image. The astronauts are downloaded from the sketchup library.)

Very good things around here: everything Carmen Bernardo draw is interesting, Bill's coloring is amazing, Joe's characters are very fun... Thanks to all of you, I have very good times looking at your art.

Agreed! I love this thread.

And Joe Smith, I want to take a stroll through your mind one day. I bet it'd be quite an interesting journey!

I had a gap between jobs and had time to put together a portfolio piece. I know it strays from "sketch book," but, it started as a sketch! Does that count? :)

This sketch is 8.5x11 -

This is 14x17 (It was too big for Staples' scanner, so I had to piece his head and part of his shoulders together. You can probably tell where the imperfection is).

Banner looks quite depressed and helpless, while the Hulk is just about ready to rip someone's head off. Perfect!

Thanks Sergio (and everyone). I love this thread. I've been going back and marveling at all the fantastic artwork that has been posted on here over the years. Everyone does such great work.

Conner, love that piece you just posted. There is nothing better than old-school comic art, IMHO. I wish comics still looked like that. Beautiful stuff.
