During my visit through some of the comic book stores in LA yesterday I saw this lithogragh from Dick Sprang.

It's titled "Secrets of the Batcave"

That picture took my breath away.  I love everything about it, including the emblem design seen on the bottom of the piece, and the imagination from this interpretation seems limitless.  My question to the forum, what did you love and admire about Dick Sprang's work in the Batman universe?  What was his legacy in your opinion of the character and the world of Gotham City?

That's the best drawing of the Batcave ever IMHO

Images like the ones in this thread are a reminder to me of why I got into comics in the first place. It is a fascinating fictional world to enter!
