But he swipes his lines from Bane.

He thinks orange-ness is his ally....

No, that was the election.

Don't get me wrong, I consider Trump a human stain who is unfit for office as a human being, let alone what I think of his policies...

But how are these protests an answer to anything?  What, you think if you get enough people with signs he'll resign?  Or even do anything differently?  You think these protests will change the vote of a single Senator or Congressman?  And what if he did resign...what...President Pence?

Bernie is right.  If you want to change the political process, if you want to change things, you need to stop picketing and go run for the city council or school board.  Go do something productive to help the situation, instead of just loudly complaining in public that its not going the way you'd like.

What you said is true... however these marches/protests are historic and can be considered the START of something greater. That's part of the democratic process as much as the election was.

Will this promote change? Time will tell.

Today's marches could more change more effectively than the mess in Washington D.C. on Friday, which was the stereotypical 'angry, violent, f**k s**t up...what are we protesting again?' thing.

The ridiculous whining by Trump & press secretary Sean Spicer over media coverage of yesterday's events should remind everyone WHY there are protests all over the world today.

Trump is off to a great start...

"The president has seen the response by the hundred thousand plus
concerned citizens of our nation and he wants each and every one of
them to know that he values the commitment displayed as well as the
peaceful protest that has taken place. He is putting togethwr a
committee consisting of a handful of the leadership to further explore
.... "..... not value difficult at all. I am typing this fresh out of a hot soak
and half asleep.

They're not an answer to anything; they're hopefully a start of
something.

What's sad is Trump is incapable of admitting his inauguration wasn't the most attended. He even has his press secretary announce that the media will be half accountable. For telling the truth about the attendance. I mean, come on! The next four years look to be revisionism that will surpass Lucasian levels. And all so he will look popular.

For those questioning the value of these marches, you need only look at the marches from the Civil Rights movement era. The purpose of them is to draw attention to the issues at hand and force those in power to at least think about their decisions and how they affect the people they are supposed to be governing in a responsible manner. Social and political change never comes easily to the establishment and marching/protests are an effective way to send a very visible message to the powers that be. Kudos to those who marched, not only the women but also the men who went out to support them as well.

This photo amuses me, especially since they're trying to spin it as having a HUGE crowd for the inauguration.

So, apparently Alternative Facts are now an acceptable form of proof of an argument. Seriously. Information that is an alternative to actual facts is what our president is going to use for information.

Jesus Christ.
