Uncle Vernon from HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERERS STONE reminds me of JB's slightly "cartoonier" stuff. In particular, there is a scene of him in front of the fireplace burning letters addressed to Harry that feels like something JB might have drawn.

The Black Queen/Phoenix confronting Mastermind immediately springs to mind. Walt/Jean's face in shadow, with a terrifying sense of detachment in their demeanor, given what their foes have done to them._______________________________________
Nah, I think to myself. I didn't start reading X-Men until after JB left (he's the FF/Alpha guy to me). No reason my mind would make that random connection.
You are one scary dude, Kirkman. That's got to be it.

Jeez! I haven't looked at that issue in a few years, but even I am shocked at how close it is to the BREAKING BAD shot!
Sometimes, I amaze even myself.

Come to think of it, Gus looks, uh, Byrned, at the end of this clip.

The Deschanel sisters
Also, a guy I worked with way back in the late 70's looked like he walked out of a Byrne panel from that era.

Pretty big SPOILER there, Jim! I don't believe that JB's checked out BREAKING BAD yet, but just in case....

To play the game, I’ve often said I think the movie REIGN OF FIRE looks like I drew it. Especially the dragons.
The scene of the Bull attacking the castle has a lot of...Byrne in it.
Ha.

Seeing Rose Byrne usually gives me that... uh, Byrne vibe. Sometimes seeing Bernie Rosenthal.
