His propeller is spinning freely.
That he even thought this was a remotely good idea is just nuts.

I give him credit for shifting the spotlight from the Elon and Kanye news cycles back to him. It’s great for what he wants (attention) even if it fucks over the GOP’s messaging. Struggling with inflation and high gas prices (which are falling but whatever)? Here’s some $99 shittily Photoshopped JPGs.

Don’t care about Trumf selling dopey trading cards to his MAGA cult, let's get back to him selling top secret documents to our enemies.

I’ve thought NFTs were a con job since I first heard of them.

That the world’s biggest con man is now in on that con job is just symmetry
to me.

But he’s an effing idiot to do this. & the people who but them are even
bigger ones

The dollar value is debatable, but I don't think anyone can argue these aren't of a very high artistic value.

He’ll raise 4.5 million bucks in a day selling those idiotic things. His cons
pay him, that’s for sure.

This is another weird illusion that Trump has managed to pull over on his fanbase; the view of him as some kind of paragon of masculinity. Even when he was in his physical prime, he had something of an effete air*, and now that he’s an enfeebled, stumbling old fat fuck who you’d probably be traumatized by if you saw naked, it’s even a weirder disconnect.  Do they ACTUALLY see this when they look at him?  Are they aware of at least this reality about the man?

*I’ll grant he was a very smart dresser, back in the day - weird outlier for a guy who has otherwise always had an outsized taste for gaudy, trashy things.

I saw someone elsewhere online ask "who is ever going to
buy these things?". Answer: A good chunk of 40% of the
American voting public, that's who.

Side note: One thing made me *immediately* think of this
forum - if one re-sells one of these things, 10% goes to
the creator.

I don’t think this is true at all. It’s a small chunk of the 40% with the rest cheering them on. It’s like boat parades for Trump or GOP tax cuts. It something that only a tiny percentage of the base can participate in, but they act like it’s a win for all of them.

These NFTs won’t sell well in my opinion, but either money laundering will purchase them or there will be claims of these set selling well from the Trumf camp. In the fine print it states the purchaser must own a crypto currency account, I’m not so sure the Maga faithful are heavy into crypto currency.
