This type of stuff has been on the White House webpage for a while. Under the section where important instances in White House history there are plenty of disparaging remarks.
I can only imagine some kid having to do a history report and using the website as a source.

The world just feels like a horrible place at the moment.

I grew up in the 80's, but I was aware of what was going on between the West and the East and the major players maybe because (as my Dad put it) I was too intelligent for an 8 year old (he was joking).

Even then, it didn't seem as horrific and disturbing as the way things are now. Everything does feel on a knife edge.

And, despite what people may think of them Reagan, Thatcher and Gorbachev were steady hands to be in compared to Trump and Putin.

Our President does this type of stuff just trigger his critics. He's such a petulant child...

No, he doesn’t.
He does it because he is a narcissistic egotist. Everything is about him.
Everything.

Something is done by someone? He did it better.
Someone knows something? He knows more about it.
Somebody built something? He owns it and it should have his name on it

I have a book of political quotes through U.S. history. Based on some of the quotes, Trump will still go down as "ONE of the worst."

So, he has gone ahead and renamed the Kennedy Center.

Let’s see what the fools on the Hill do about it

That's an interesting one, as the Kennedy Center was named by law. Only Congress, therefore, should be able to rename it.

Apparently, Congress (well the majority party of that branch of government) are a bunch of weak bastards.

Using the math that the White Brains Grifter loves to spout, I would say that well over 500% of the GOP are weak.
