I feel your pain, Bill. Our cat Alfred got a diagnosis of advanced lymphoma a week ago, with a prognosis of six months WITH weekly chemo visits or two months with at home palliative care. We opted for the latter, since there's no world in which we'd want to extend his life in such a miserable manner, so now we're just making sure he's comfortable and eating. It's a terrible waiting game knowing that the end is coming and we'll have to bring him to be euthanized in the very near future.

Oh buddy, what JB said. We lost our senior boy back in
April, and then my Mom the following month. I won't lie,
for pure, gut-wrenching heartache, the dog rocked me
harder. Deepest condolences.
