Begging everyone’s pardon if I somehow missed a thread here, but Roger passed away in hospice yesterday at age 75.

His was one of those names that, if I saw it in the credits box, I knew I was going to enjoy the issue.

His DAREDEVIL and CAPTAIN AMERICA were great, and so was his short run on GHOST RIDER.  I also bought a few independents here and there that he wrote.

This was a notice that made me sad.

From what I've read, there would be no Frank Miller the writer without Roger McKenzie's influence.

I had many a chat with young Frank about his somewhat contentious dealings with Roger.
