Since this is the Trump thread that seems more in line with the pure bullshit side - Trump said last night at the GOP Midterm Convention that:

Okay, so the issue here isn't that a) it's so nakedly a bribe, stated like that, and b) he says "I will issue..." which pretty much sums up his attitude that he literally owns the country. The striking thing about it is that there are people who will still believe that he'll make good on this promise, despite all past promises that never materialized and never will. My only hope is that there's a decently large number of people who believed his prior empty promises who recognize those discrepancies.
