I hope I'm not crossing a line, but I am guessing the artist JB mentioned is Art Adams b/c he mentions in his Modern Masters book that he takes 5 days.

From what he's said in interviews, Jim Lee's certainly not lazy. He mentions that he works a 12 hour day, including Saturdays, and even has a bed in the studio for when he works past 12 hours.

I think that certain artists, like Art and Jim, should only work miniseries, graphic novels, or runs on books that are done way in advance.

BTW--was Jim's Hush storyline really late? This All Star Batman thing is so incredibly late that I assumed in was on Miller's end, because I don't remember Hush or X-Men ever being this late. Is this Jim's fault?

I don't get it, I guess.  Carry on.

I think Jim Lee said it was his own fault if ASBR was late.

Not a big problem to me, i dropped this bi-monthly book after issue 2 in august 2005, and since then i missed only two issues.

I like Pelletier's art.  I'd like to see him work with a fun writer (like Slott) again.

It seems that Jim Lee is more an editor thatn an artist these days.

As artist, I think he did only one issue of ASBR and one of Wildcat in 2006

Twelve hour work days and still could only produce two full comics in one year?! I don't know about that. He does nice work, but it isn't that nice.

Jim Lee had a big head start on the Hush sotryline.  I want to say it was never late.  his Superman stuff started out on schedule but I think the last couple of issues caught up to him and they came a tad late.
Jim Lee also has his doings at Wildstorm where he is more than an artist that can take away from him dedicating a full day to the drawing table.  But still...manage your time...

Sue Storm, Overloard of Creation! Those must have been some serious gamma rays she was exposed to in the Exiles universe.
