As one of the long time "Faithful Fifty", I've always liked JB's take on
Doctor Strange and think he'd do a heck of a Doc ongoing, mini, or GN.
But, while you're at it... Why not a JB "Defenders"? I think that'd be
awesome. That way you'd get to John Byrne drawing Doc every month--
AND Hellcat, Valkyrie, and Nighthawk too. Maybe even Hulk, Namor, and
the Surfer?
To me, my favorite JB comics happen when he takes on Kirby characters.
There's just some kinda' magic alchemy that happens there. That said--
I'd love to see what John Byrne would do with an Eternals series, mini, or
GN.

Defender's sounds like a great idea to me too.
Doctor Strange alone doesn't appeal to me (sorry Gerry!) but with Namor, the Hulk and perhaps the Surfer thrown into the mix... I'm there!

I always thought that Dr. Strange made the most sense of any character to be in a Team-Up book. I mean, it stretches plausibility a bit for the Thing or Spider-Man to team up with a different hero every issue (not that it ever actually bothered me), but it makes perfect sense for Dr. Strange to be able to use a summoning spell to bring another hero in on an adventure. Particularly if you stick to heroes that have one foot in the magical world.

Holy Schniky
Hi Dan Slott
Just wanted to echo the call for JB doing Doc Strange and also pass on my regards of your work on She-Hulk-from what I have sampled it is very entertaining and I am looking forward to getting trades from the run, though I have found them hard to find.
Regards
RT

(Just a little aside, noticing Dan Slott here, if it truly is him since now we're all paranoid about who's for real and who's not :-)
Dan, LOVE your Avengers Initiative. As you've no doubt heard, you're one of the few current writers that seems to keep the sensibilities of traditional comics with some of the demands of current comics.

I already mentioned I would like Panther and Ka zar. But any of these books would be very appealing to me except Nick Fury and Shield. I like Nick and Shield as guest stars, but have never been able to warm up to a solo book.

All those options would be a must buy for me and would actually get me into the local comic shop. The Doctor Strange option, echoing others, does sound like a fun ride.
Now, how to make this happen?

Off Topic- [Paul Greer] "It wasn't a character shot, just a splash of a ship flying. It was sold before I had a chance to grab it."
[Darren] And I know who got that piece;-)
On Topic- I'd loveto see JB do the Guardians as I'd get both a team book -and- a Sci-Fi setting all rolled into one!
