GOTG was the first thing that popped into my head, so I guess of the options you offered, John, that would be my choice.

I could see each one of these being really cool in your hands, even ones that don't appeal to me too much. And they are all different enough that they would all pose interesting choices in stories and characterization. And the fact that YOU think they will be cool is enough for me to buy in.
Given a single choice, I would love Guardians of the Galaxy for it's sci-fi angle; and that is without knowing frankly anything about the characters aside from their appearances in Avengers back in the 70s!

Black Panther (would this be with Storm?)..I would dig that.
I also wouldn't mind seeing an Inhumans series that cleans up their recent past (pardon me for insinuating that you are Mr. Cleanup, JB).

I agree with David - if Black Panther had Storm, that would be awesome. Nick Fury would be very interesting too. Invaders has possibilities - I like your period stuff.

I think you could do great things with both Nick Fury and Doctor Strange. Not too interested in the others except for Black Panther, but if you did them, I am sure my interest would be there then. Just curious, but would you want the top corner art to return for your title, should Marvel ever give you this deal or do you even care about such things? If I were you besides demanding full control over what you do, I would want the comic to look more like old school Marvel with the art box in the top corner at the very least and the cover would have to be by you and not another artist.

Any character you touch turns to gold, so all are great choices. But I'd insist upon your proposed "director's cut" of the last few issues of your run on Fantastic Four.

It's been mentioned alot already, but the Black Panther with Storm, or Daredevil, or Mr. Fantastic, or any number of NY-based heroes, would make for great stories. Not that JB's Panther would be a team-up book, but every few NY stories, you could throw in other characters. He's a man in a foreign land, hopefully allies would come around to help him.

I've always loved Ka-Zar, so that would be great to see... but why only in New York?
Any reason that you write Marvel (the name) right again?

Of these only Doctor Strange, Nick Fury: Agent of SHIELD, and Guardians of the Galaxy
appeals to me.
At first with Ka-Zar in NY I thought no way but it might be interesting.

The Invaders and Black Fox are the one's that excite me the most. The 40's era and Lost Generation are exciting and continuity "problem free" from the others.
Doctor Strange is wide open for anything.
Nick Fury with spies, gadgets, action and danger would also be great.
GOTG, I don't know a lot about them but Mr. Byrne and Science Fiction is a great combination.
Black Panther sounds exciting. I like Storm, would she be in it?
Kazar not really interested in, but Mr. Byrne's writing and art I know it would be action packed and go were kazar has never been before.
