Shouldn't the rivets on the counter edge continue on Franklin's right?

Added: I'm mostly wondering if this was one of those "less is more" choices a bit like only showing enough bricks on a building to suggest material rather than drowning the eyes in needless detail.

I love this. It brings to mind my earliest years of reading comics, back when I was around 5 years old, when I was still too young to "get" every word, but when the characters just meant EVERYTHING to me, when it felt like I was Franklin, sharing a bit of personal time with Ben himself.
