Really like the little touches like the FF bag and the phone book the kid is sitting on. Someone has got to claim this ! Now this commisison is one I could see hanging on the wall of my daughter's room.
TIMELESS!

Very cool! It would be great to see a collection of Rockwell-inspired pieces featuring Marvel characters. John Byrne presents. That would be an amazing book that I'd jump on in a second. I wonder if there'd be a market in that...

Franklin's still a little kid, eh? Looks like in order to reach that countertop, he needed a couple 'a phonebooks to pile on that seat. The way they're doing him at Marvel now, you'd think he'd just turned sixteen...
Good job, JB!

awww how nice, very clever idea. I am always impressed with what people think up for commsion requests, and how JB brings them to life.

The way they're doing him at Marvel now, you'd think he'd just turned sixteen.••• When people age kids in comics, I sometimes wonder if they have kids of their own, and are somehow in a state of denial. "Look! Franklin Richards is 16 now. I know that means Johnny Storm would be pushing 40 and Reed would be ready for retirement, but they don't look it --- so the fact that my kid is a teenager doesn't mean I look a day older than when he was born, either!" Either that, or they simply don't do the math.

Boy that just went to the top of the favorite commission pile.
When I was a kid, I used to imagine Ben Grimm running alongside the car on long trips, smashing through houses and wood piles in order to keep pace. Not exactly the same, but Ben was definitely an imaginary buddy of mine, and this reminds me of that.
