Thanks Spider-Man. I had forgotten about that one. I don't buy it - the stories are good, but I can't stretch my budget. Already buying too many Marvel UK titles as it is.

Well, when JB was a kid,  DC was long established and Marvel was still a new "up and comer" would have led to DC being more prevalent when he was a kid.

Wait.  They had printing presses when JB was a kid?  :P

 QUOTE:
I can't remember the ever not being a Spider-Man comic of some sorts here in the UK

Yeah, it has had a presence most of the time hasn't it? The only time I can't recall a UK Spider-Man title (maybe) is between 1988-1992. I seem to recall a Spider-Man title up until about 1987/88. Then in 1992 there was THE COMPLETE SPIDER-MAN which became THE EXPLOITS OF SPIDER-MAN which became THE ASTONISHING SPIDER-MAN.

If anyone knows of a UK Spider-Man title between 1988-1992, then please post details here.

On a related note, I am absolutely rubbish with computers. I am not a person who gets to grips with technology easily. I know little-to-nothing about computers, the internet, etc. (I can just about post topics on a forum). However, if I ever do become computer and internet-proficient, my ambition is to create a website about the history of DC and Marvel within the UK.

Thank you, Gerry. That's one I might enjoy (but it makes my idea of a website redundant doesn't it - oh well!).
